Braving the chilly weather, young revellers donned warm clothes and vibrant carnival costumes as they filled the streets of Limassol with music and colour during the city’s annual Children’s Carnival Parade on Sunday.

The parade, which began at 11:30 a.m. along the coastal road and moved towards the old port, drew large crowds of spectators eager to cheer on the participants. Dozens of schools took part with walking groups inspired by spectacular themes, showcasing elaborate costumes, dancing, and festive spirit.

Leading the procession was the “King of Confetti” on an ornate float, accompanied by stilt walkers, adding to the carnival’s exuberance.
