A man was found unconscious at four this morning in the Phinikoudes coastal area of Larnaca.
Police and an ambulance were called to the scene. He was pronounced dead on arrival at the Larnaca General hospital.
The man has yet to be identified, but authorities seem to have ruled out foul play.
An investigation is under way to establish the circumstances that led to his death on the popular local beach.
