Preliminary findings indicate the fire started in a ground-floor prefabricated storage shed attached to the house, and its contents suffered extensive damage.

The fire and intense heat also damaged the house’s exterior paint and an air-conditioning compressor, while the owner’s car, parked on the road in front of the house, suffered damage to part of its bodywork.

The cause of the fire is expected to be investigated.
