A 16-year-old of Russian origin who was reported missing in Avakas Gorge was found safe and uninjured following a late-night search operation.
Fire Service spokesman Andreas Kettis said the operation began at 10.40 pm on Saturday at the request of police.
At 10 pm, a 36-year-old man reported to Peyia Police Station that he had gone to Avakas Gorge that afternoon with his wife and her 16-year-old brother, but at some point they lost track of the teenager.
A Fire Service team found the 16-year-old at around 12.45 am, and he had suffered no injuries.
Four members of the Paphos Fire Service took part in the operation, along with an Emergency Response Unit vehicle carrying three search dogs and their three handlers.
Police deployed two vehicles, two officers and the duty officer, while Civil Defence joined the search with a 12-person team and a drone equipped with a thermal camera.
