Police are investigating attempted murder following a violent brawl between two groups on the Limassol seafront on Monday evening that left three people hospitalised.
One of the injured sustained gunshot wounds to the legs, while the other two suffered serious head injuries caused by a crowbar, according to philenews information.

One person involved in the confrontation allegedly drew a pistol and fired several shots. Six people have been arrested in connection with the incident.

The brawl unfolded across two locations — on the beach and along the coastal promenade — both of which were cordoned off for on-site examination. Investigators recovered two spent cartridges and traces of blood at the scene.

Authorities are also expected to review closed-circuit television footage that may have captured the movements of those involved.
