The Independent Authority against Corruption will release technical details of the inspection officers’ report into journalist Makarios Drousiotis’s book ‘Mafia State’ on Tuesday, but will not disclose any of the investigators’ findings.
The Authority’s Transparency Commissioner, Haris Poyiadjis, said the information to be made public covers the report’s technical characteristics: its volume, the number of exhibits and the number of witnesses.
Poyiadjis said no findings would be released on Tuesday. He added that it was difficult to calculate precisely when the Authority would issue its own position on the report, given the document’s considerable volume.
The four members of the investigation team are Australian Gabrielle Louise McIntyre, who led the inquiry, along with Andreas Efthymiou, Charilaos Chrysanthou and Orestis Nikita.
