Athalassa at the centre of the capital, recorded the highest temperature across the country today, peaking at 39, with most of Nicosia topping the hot list.
According to Department of Meteorology data, Limassol and its surrounding region came in 2nd, with Frenaros in the free Famagusta area, third hottest.
