Unidentified unmanned aerial vehicles (drones) were spotted over Denmark’s largest military base, according to the Police. The incident follows a series of similar overflights recorded at the country’s airports in recent days.
“I can confirm that we had an incident around 20:15 (local time, 21:15 Cyprus time) that lasted several hours. One or two drones were observed outside and above the Karup Air Base,” a police officer told the French Agency (AFP).
“We did not shoot them down,” he added, clarifying that the Police cannot comment on the origin of these drones.
