An Israeli strike killed several Lebanese soldiers, including an officer, after hitting their military vehicle on the Khardali-Nabatieh road in south Lebanon, the Lebanese army announced on Saturday.
The Lebanese army has historically avoided involvement in the ongoing confrontations between Hezbollah and Israel, and it has remained unengaged throughout the current conflict.
