Millions of users worldwide are unable to access ChatGPT, with the artificial intelligence platform experiencing an outage lasting more than an hour.
Users began reporting intermittent access problems early Thursday, with many unable to log in or reach the website. The chat.openai.com site is currently displaying a “Bad Gateway” error.
OpenAI has confirmed the outage and says it is working to resolve the technical issues. The company has not revealed the cause of the disruption.
The problems have been verified by thousands of user reports on Downdetector, a service monitoring website outages.
