In collaboration with the Municipality of South Nicosia–Idalion (SNI), Apintech piloted an innovative approach combining ELoGE assessment, Responsible Digitisation and digital assessment technology within a single interactive environment.
Using the LEIMINTE platform, the Municipality’s ELoGE indicators, assessments and supporting documentation have been organised within a structured digital environment. The platform distinguishes between public and private information, supporting transparency while ensuring that sensitive evidence remains accessible only to authorised users.
Building on the ELoGE implementation, the pilot introduced the Responsible Digitisation Methodology (RDM) as a complementary layer. RDM examines the environmental, social and operational impacts of digitalisation, demonstrating how responsible digitisation can complement an established governance and certification framework rather than operate as a separate assessment exercise.
The resulting Interactive Digital Playbook brings together methodologies, indicators, evidence, assessments and results, supporting certification, learning and continuous improvement. An online demo can be found here.
The next development will introduce an AI-enabled chatbot, allowing authorised users to interact with the system in natural language to explore indicators, assessments and supporting documentation, while respecting access rights for public and restricted information.
The SNI pilot demonstrates the potential to transform document-intensive certification and assessment processes into interactive, evidence-based digital environments. The approach can also be adapted to other standards, certification schemes and maturity models.
Municipalities, public authorities, certification bodies and other organisations facing similar assessment and certification needs are invited to contact Apintech ([email protected]) to discuss their requirements, explore the approach and identify opportunities for future collaboration.
