The state-owned Natural Gas Infrastructure Company (ETYFA) has signed a contract for project management services at the Vasilikos terminal, a key development in Cyprus’ natural gas infrastructure plans.
According to a company announcement, ETYFA signed the agreement with T.EN PMS Services Ltd (Technip Energies) on May 16, 2025, following a tender process (Tender ETYFA 06/2024).
The contractor will provide “Project Management Services” for the completion of the Natural Gas Import Terminal in the Vasilikos area.
ETYFA stated that the Liquefied Natural Gas Import Infrastructure Project is designated as a Project of Common Interest, named “CyprusGas2EU”.
The initiative aims to facilitate “the import of Natural Gas to Cyprus”, reducing the country’s dependence on imported oil and supporting its transition to cleaner energy sources.
