The Cyprus Electricity Authority (EAC) issued a warning on Thursday urging homeowners to regularly monitor their solar photovoltaic systems following reports of reconnection failures after power cuts.
The authority noted several cases where photovoltaic systems failed to reconnect to the grid after disconnection.
Homeowners can monitor their systems either through the monitoring application provided by their installer or by conducting visual inspections of the inverter, the EAC stated.
