Sirens will be heard at RAF Akrotiri and across the wider Akrotiri area on Wednesday, October 21, during a scheduled test of the base’s siren system.
The test is not linked to any threat or incident. There is no cause for concern and the public does not need to take any action.
The test is being carried out to make sure the system works properly and is fully ready for operational use, the British Bases said in an announcement.
