A 31-year-old food delivery rider was allegedly kicked to the ground and robbed of his mobile phone and cash by three people on motorcycles in Limassol on Friday night, according to a complaint he made to police.
The man told police that at around 10.15pm, while he was riding his motorcycle on Paphos Avenue, two people on another motorcycle came up to him and stole his phone, which was mounted on his handlebars.
He followed them, and as he tried to catch up, the pillion passenger allegedly kicked him and he fell to the ground. He was not injured.
While he was on the ground, a third person on another motorcycle, who appeared to be with the other two, allegedly approached him and stole money he was carrying. The three then left.
Officers went to the area after the complaint. Limassol CID is investigating.
