Rock and soil landslides were reported on the Kambos–Lefka road following heavy rainfall that affected the area over the past 24 hours.
According to police, there are no major problems on the main road network as of Sunday morning. However, landslides have caused difficulties on the specific route.
Local authority crews are at the scene working to clear the road surface and restore safe passage for vehicles.
Police are urging drivers using the road network to exercise particular caution, adjust their speed to the road conditions and follow traffic signs and instructions.
