Cyprus police arrested three people following a joint operation with Danish authorities and Europol into a hitman plot and criminal organisation.
Investigators launched an immediate operational plan alongside a Danish police team after receiving Europol intelligence regarding planned contract killings in Cyprus.
A coordinated investigation and evidence evaluation led to judicial warrants and raids across the Larnaca and Famagusta districts, where officers arrested the three suspects. They are expected to appear in court today for a detention order.
