A 77-year-old man is in serious condition in hospital after losing control of his car and crashing into the perimeter wall of a house in Paphos yesterday afternoon.
The man was driving on Vasileos Stasioikou Avenue at around 6:30pm when, under circumstances still being investigated, he lost control of the vehicle, went off the road and struck the wall, coming to a stop.
He was first taken by ambulance to Polis Chrysochous Hospital. Due to the severity of his condition, he was then transferred to Paphos General Hospital, where he underwent surgery. Treating doctors describe his condition as serious.
Polis Chrysochous police station is continuing its investigation into the collision.
