Firefighters brought a blaze under control at a ground-floor catering premises in Chlorakas, Paphos district, in the early hours of the morning, with authorities not ruling out arson as the cause.
The Fire Service said it received a call at 3:03am reporting the fire. Paphos Fire Station dispatched two fire engines, and crews brought the blaze under control by 3:25am.
The fire and resulting heat caused extensive damage to the premises and part of its equipment.
The cause remains under investigation.
