The village of Vavla hosts its fourth annual Musical Promenade on Saturday, May 16, with eleven acts performing across the village’s narrow streets, squares and courtyards from 17:30 until midnight. Admission is free.
Visitors will follow a map through the village to find performers in its corners and the courtyards of local residents. The programme spans the sounds of the Eastern Mediterranean, contemporary songwriting, jazz, soul, classical music and experimental soundscapes.
Performing artists include Alexa Michael, Christos Fountos, Eleonora Roussou and Odysseas Toumazou, En Phyē, Epea Pteroenta, Jan Van and Fotis Siotas, Mihalis Siammas, Naz Atun, Panayiotis Loizou, DJ Vanesha and Ya Na Ma Na.
Street food, a local produce market and bars serving cocktails, beer and wine will be available throughout the evening.
The event is organised by the Vavla Development Association.
