All roads in the Troodos area have become slippery and dangerous due to snowfall and dense fog currently observed at the peak, police said in an announcement.
The road from Troodos Square to the Olympus peak is open only for vehicles equipped with anti-slip chains or four-wheel drive, according to police.
Drivers are urged to exercise particular caution, drive at low speed, maintain a safe distance from vehicles ahead, and keep their vehicle lights on, police said.
