The sea has turned red at Agia Triada beach in the Kapparis area of Paralimni.
Heavy rainfall battering the country in recent days due to Storm Byron has resulted in the accumulation of water which sweeps quantities of soil and ends up in the sea, causing the change in the water’s colour.
