The Ukrainian President’s bombshell was dropped on X, following talks with Donald Trump for an exchange of views on the Putin meeting but also European leaders who offered their own input to Zelenskyy as to the results and possible next steps.
Kyiv has rendered its support to a comprehensive peace settlement instead of a ceasefire, a proposal discussed in the Alaska talks, as the US President disclosed.
Zelenskyy made clear that all negotiations on a solution must be held with Ukraine present at the table, particularly so when it involves territorial issues.
‘Security must be guaranteed with credibility and viability’, the Ukrainian President added, with both Europe and the US as active participants.
