Wizz Air has announced a new direct route connecting Larnaca to Timisoara, Romania, with flights commencing in October as part of the airline’s continued expansion in Cyprus.
The budget carrier will offer one-way fares starting from €19.99, including all mandatory fees and one carry-on bag, further strengthening its commitment to providing affordable travel options for passengers in Cyprus.
This announcement follows last week’s news that the airline is expanding its Cyprus network to include flights from Paphos to Yerevan, Armenia. The Larnaca-Timisoara route will be exclusively operated by Wizz Air.
Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air, said: “We are excited to introduce another direct connection from Cyprus with the launch of flights from Larnaca to Timisoara. This new route highlights our continued growth and investment in the Cypriot market. Timisoara is a unique and beautiful city, and we are thrilled to offer Cypriot travellers the opportunity to explore its historic squares, ornate cathedrals, and architectural charm at an affordable price. Driven by its ‘Customer First-Compass’ programme, Wizz Air is dedicated to redefining the travel experience, operating one of the industry’s youngest, safest, and most fuel-efficient fleets”.
