Wizz Air will begin operating direct flights between Paphos and Yerevan, Armenia’s capital, starting October, with services running twice weekly on Thursdays and Sundays.
Fares for the new route will start from €29.99 one-way, inclusive of all mandatory fees and one carry-on bag, the airline announced.
The budget carrier is promoting Yerevan as an emerging destination that combines traditional heritage with contemporary culture. Visitors can explore the city’s iconic Republic Square, enjoy views of Mount Ararat, and experience Armenia’s distinctive cuisine and hospitality.
As part of its marketing campaign, Wizz Air has collaborated with Flight Mode Society, content creators and podcasters at Black Lemon, to provide prospective travellers with authentic visuals, personal experiences and practical travel tips for visiting Yerevan.
“Adding Paphos to Wizz Air’s network reflects our commitment to continuous growth in Cyprus,” said Olivia Harangozo, Corporate Communications Manager at Wizz Air.
“With Yerevan being an unexplored yet captivating destination, we are offering Cypriot travellers even more reasons to discover new cultures – always at affordable prices”.
Harangozo added that the airline, guided by its “Customer First-Compass” product philosophy, is committed to enhancing the travel experience while operating one of the youngest, safest and most fuel-efficient fleets in the industry.
