Actus Anima presents the exhibition Mother of All, Gaia at the Ibrahim’s Khan in Paphos.
The exhibition curated by the art historian Stratis Pantazis opens a dialogue between Cypriot and Greek artists from different generations, whose works include images, concepts, symbols and materials related to earth and nature.
It will bring to the fore the eternal questions that concern humans and relate to life, birth, death, catharsis and rebirth.
In other cases, it will raise questions about the uncontrolled use and exploitation of nature by humans, ecological destruction, land-related occupations, which are gradually disappearing over time due to environmental causes, government restrictions and the free market and movement of products that have an impact on the sustainability of local production units.
The exhibition will be open until Sunday, 18 May 2025.
