Having expressed preference in himself as the next Pope (conclave meets on May 7th) in cheery mode, Donald Trump took it a step further, uploading a related photograph to his Truth Social account! What’s more, this post was, in turn, reposted by the official White House account on Twitter.
‘I would like to become Pope. That would be my first choice’, he told reporters.
Subsequently, he uploaded a photoshopped picture to his platform, garments and all.
Some took it with a pinch (rather large one) of humour, others considered it an insult and most realised that Trump will always be Trump.
