Cyprus has deported 271 irregular migrants between January 9-15, followed by an additional 170 people on Thursday, January 16, authorities announced.
The latest deportations were carried out through a large-scale operation combining both voluntary and forced returns to migrants’ countries of origin.
The moves follow a year that saw 10,098 people deported from Cyprus during 2024.
