The Larnaca District Engineer’s Office has announced that cable installation works in CYTA manholes will take place across several roads in Larnaca district from November 4 to 9.

The works will be carried out between 8:30 and 16:00 on the Larnaca-Ayia Napa motorway near the Kalo Chorio roundabout, and along the Kalo Chorio-Mosfiloti road, according to the Department of Public Works, Ministry of Transport, Communications and Works.

On the Larnaca Airport-Ayia Napa motorway near the Kalo Chorio roundabout, a 20-metre section of the hard shoulder will be closed, though traffic flow will continue normally.

The Kalo Chorio-Mosfiloti road will see closures of the hard shoulder and/or parts of the left lane over manholes for 20-metre sections across a total distance of approximately 3km.

Traffic will be directed to the adjacent lane using a STOP & GO system.

The Department of Public Works has apologised for any inconvenience and urged the public to show understanding and comply with temporary road signs and police instructions.
