Six people have died in Cuba as Hurricane Oscar struck the island, Cuban President Miguel Diaz-Canel announced on state television.
The fatalities occurred in the community of San Antonio del Sur in the eastern Guantanamo province, according to preliminary information shared by Diaz-Canel in a live broadcast.
