Rains have led to flooding in Nicosia, with rivers of water transforming the roads.
The Fire Service has reported receiving numerous calls related to the flooding and associated problems.
In many areas, the water is falling with significant force, and the roads are covered in mud. Images from Aglantzia show areas submerged in water.
The situation at Strovolos historical centre is also reported to be serious.
