Legendary Cypriot Paralympian Carolina Pelendritou secured the 8th Olympic medal of her Paralympian career with a brilliant bronze for Cyprus in the 100 metre freestyle.
The race was held late afternoon and Pelendritou was in the medals from the outset, even leading the race at some point.
She held on to bronze, adding to the silver in the 50 metre breaststroke last week.
