Stefanos Tsitsipas has advanced to the quarterfinals of the Olympic men’s singles tennis tournament after defeating Sebastian Baez in straight sets.
The Greek star, who is competing in the Olympics for the first time, overcame a shaky start to win 7-5, 6-1. He will now face Novak Djokovic in the next round on Thursday.
Tsitsipas struggled on serve early in the match but recovered to dominate the second set and secure his place in the last eight.
