Police have been put on high alert following the discovery of a burned vehicle in the Listovounos area of the Limassol district, inside which two charred bodies were found.
A citizen noticed the fire in the vehicle a quarter past midnight and immediately alerted the authorities.
Police officers from the Limassol Police Directorate rushed to the scene, which has been cordoned off. Members of the Crime Investigation Department (CID) and the pathologist Nikolas Charalambous have also arrived to conduct an autopsy.
At this time, the Limassol CID is investigating all possibilities, including the possibility of murder, with examinations ongoing.
