Tickets for Tom Jones’ upcoming concert in Larnaca are nearing sell-out, organisers said on Thursday. The Welsh singer is set to perform on July 18 as part of his “Ages & Stages Tour 2024.”
This marks Jones’ first concert in Cyprus. The 84-year-old musician’s latest album, “Surrounded by Time” (2021), became his highest-charting ever in the UK.
Jones, known as the “Welsh Elvis,” rose to fame in the 1960s with hits like “It’s Not Unusual” and “Delilah.” He is known for his powerful baritone voice and energetic stage presence.
The one-night-only concert will be held at Larnaca Beach. Organizers say Jones will perform a selection of his greatest hits.
Jones has sold over 100 million records throughout his six-decade career. He is a recipient of the Music Industry Trust Award and multiple Grammy Awards.
