A 22-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a case of assault and grievous bodily harm against a 32-year-old man in Limassol on July 6.
According to the police, at around 4:50 am last Saturday, the 32-year-old, while spending time with friends outside a nightclub in the Germasogeia area, was attacked by three unknown individuals who assaulted him in various parts of the body.
The victim then visited the Limassol General Hospital, where he was found to have a jaw fracture and received stitches on his head.
Investigations by the Limassol Criminal Investigation Department led to testimony against a 22-year-old man from Limassol, for whom an arrest warrant was issued. He was arrested in the early hours of the morning and remanded in custody.
