The government has increased the number of beneficiaries for the holiday subsidy scheme in mountain resorts and Pyrgos Tyllirias.
Initially aimed at 6,300 individuals, the programme has been expanded to accommodate 6,600 pensioners due to high demand.
This scheme offers fully subsidised accommodation with full board for eligible pensioners who can enjoy a getaway in these scenic locations between:
- June 4, 2024 to July 29, 2024
- September 3, 2024 to October 29, 2024
The Ministry of Labour and Social Insurance proposed the expansion, which was approved by the Council of Ministers.
