An earthquake was detected approximately 20 kilometres northeast of Paphos on Wednesday morning, according to the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre. The tremor occurred at 11:31 local time. The magnitude has been estimated at 5.4. Further updates are expected as seismological data is analysed.
